Since 1987 the Peace Run has visited over 140 nations, touching the lives of millions of people as a bi-annual event. This global relay, with the Peace Torch being passed from hand to hand, symbolizes the commitment from our hearts to embody and spread the peace within each of us. The International Peace Run Team visits the Peace Park with Ret. Hon. Col. Gerry Nudds, recipient of the Peace Run Torch Bearer Award for his efforts to create a Peace Park for the community.
